    7914 Tuff Ankle TQ Rig

Posted by AJ Montenegro on Jul 16th 2020

Great rig for my CAT tourniquet. Since receiving it a few weeks ago (they shipped pretty quick btw), I've worn it daily, it's comfortable and I sometimes forget it's on! Items stay secure in the individual pockets- there are internal rubberized elastic cummerbunds that hold the TQ and other items tight enough so they don't fly out when running. Awesome product!

    Tuff Ankle Tourniquet Rig

Posted by Eric Blevins on Aug 19th 2019

This rig is very comfortable and carries all my needed EDC medical every day and for the price it's a steal when compared to a lot of other competitors at prices twice to five times more. It's so comfortable I often forget I'm wearing it which again is outstanding testament to the product. I highly suggest this to anyone needing a discrete carry method that won't break the bank.

    Great solution for medical

The necessity of proper medical essential. Often it is difficult to carry medical in the absence of cargo pants. Even then it looks fairly ridiculous to have bulging pockets. This allows you to have proper bleeding control measures and still wear jeans. It does not print unless you wear skinny jeans. Its also extremely comfortable, which was a pleasant surprise. The size of the sleeves leaves a little to be desired but keeps items secure when moving athletically. I recently ran this in a 2 day Sage Dynamics class and forgot I even had it on.

    Top notch

Construction of the ankle tq rig is superb. Removable padding makes running with low top shoes very comfortable and allows for less bulk when wrapped around a calf high boot. I have seen other options that have sub par retention on the pockets causing loss of medical supplies. The tuff products ankle tq rig has superior retention.

    Ankle First Aid Kit

Slick idea. Holds all of the essentials for a gunshot or extreme trauma situation. Leg works nicely, because the patient is usually on the ground, so if one is on one knee the kit is right there where you need it most. Tried it with 3 different pairs of pants, hardly noticeable. I plan to balance it with my ankle holster on the other side.
