Review Tuff’s 4997-Taclett II, Black Rip Stop - Weapon Fanny Pack

Posted by JT Sixbey on Aug 16th 2016

I retired in 2015 with 41 years in Law Enforcement & for the last 25 years I have carried a weapon fanny pack while off duty. During that time frame I carried three different weapon fanny packs. I made personal modifications the each of these packs to accommodate my requirements. Recently current pack worn out & I purchased Tuff’s 4997-Taclett II, Black Rip Stop. In this 4997-Taclett II, I carry the following:
FNH, FNX, .45 ACP Pistol, equipped with the following:
Trijicon RMR Reflex Red Dot Sight.
Streamlight’s TLR-2 HL G Weapon LED Light with Green Laser.
One spare 15 round .45 ACP Magazine.
    Money clip & credit cards.
    LEO & CCW identification.
Cell Phone & a set of keys.
Beyond a shadow of doubt the 4997-Taclett II is the most comfortable & complete weapon fanny pack that is known to me. I highly recommend this weapon fanny pack & the Tuff Product Company. The service & shipping time of the Tuff Co is second to none. Two day shipping from CA to FL in just two days & that Tuff's regular shipping charge.

    Great off-body carry!

I have a problem, with almost any traditional holster-carry, because I'm in a wheelchair.
(IWB holsters pose an issue for accessibility) The Taclett II allows me to carry my wallet, keys, etc.,and even a large-frame pistol, with ease. And with all the functionality, the quick ease in which I can unholster, and reholster the firearm, also comes with good looks. With also being a CCL trainer, I'm planning on forwarding this product to anyone who'll also be looking for an alternative to traditional carry-styles.
